While summer is typically considered a time of rest and relaxation, the LaunchTech team was hard at work, much to the benefit of our clients. The culmination of effort put in over the years resulted in some exceptional outcomes.

 

Three of our clients were acquired over the course of two months. We are thrilled for them and proud of what we contributed and all that we drove them to accomplish. Here is a quick recap of our clients’ recent acquisition success and a glimpse into how we supported these achievements.

 

Denim Group Acquired by CoalFire

June 1, 2021

 

LaunchTech supported the Denim Group brand for over 6 years, directing media and analyst relations, and significantly growing their share of voice, thought leader profiles and amplifying the footprint of their product, ThreadFix. Denim Group spokespeople were included in CBS, NPR and PBS broadcasts and were regularly called upon by the AP, AFP, Dark Reading, SC Magazine and other top-tier publications.

 

Vigilante Acquired by ZeroFox

July 7,2021

 

LaunchTech launched the Vigilante brand in 2019, spinning the team out from InfoArmor as a result of the company’s acquisition by Allstate, which included crafting entirely new messaging and managing the process of building out a website and the creation of new branding such as logos. Establishing key media relationships (Axios, The Hill, New York Times, Dark Reading), placing thought leadership articles at third party publications and engagement on social media contributed to raising the company’s visibility as an expert and leader in dark web intelligence.

 

CloudKnox Acquired by Microsoft

July 21, 2021

 

LaunchTech partnered with CloudKnox this past year to establish, grow and lead the category of Cloud Infrastructure Entitlements Management (CIEM) with Gartner. Bringing entitlements management to the forefront in publications, LaunchTech secured coverage in publications such as: CSO Magazine, TechTarget, Help Net Security and many others. We drafted case studies, contributed articles and blogs to ease the load on Cloudknox’s thought leaders so they could focus more on their daily jobs and facilitated interactions with analysts and reporters.

 

These acquisitions not only speak to the value our clients bring to the cybersecurity industry, but how partnering with the right PR agency will raise awareness, credibility, validation and inevitably lead to a favorable exit.
